Turkey Day! Gobble, gobble!

Sun Oct 11, 2009, 11:29 PM
Today, I scared a pigeon into pooping. MLIA?

Not that it's terribly hard. But it's still freaking hilarious. 8D
And it's not like I'm chasing them (which I still do on occasion, hehe), but rather.. flapping my super long scarf at them until they flee.

Anys, Apparently I missed some super rad Distant Worlds concert/orchestra the other day. I heard it was superly amazing. Maybe next time, when my friends actually tell me that they're going. Buncha wanks, all of you.

In other news: I have a new job. It's been going pretty well. It's more admin/reception stuff downtown. Full time, salary, NOT working with a temp agency. How fantastic! Hopefully this works well for the next while, until I figure out how to go to school full time for next year. For now tho, it'll remain part time. I'm learning more French, which is fun. Helping the boy with his econ homework makes me miss math, just a little. It's so rewarding when you get the answer right, hehe.

Otherwise, I play video games when I can. Which.. isn't often- but when I get a chance I'd like to dive into Prototype. I finally took a look at my old FFVIII files. Apparently I was almost done the game, but never got to finish because the friend that I was borrowing the game from wanted it back. Bah! The boy tells me I was almost done too. Unfortunately my old save is corrupt tho, go figure. The second file before that is only 1.5 hours behind tho.. but, I'm still confused as to what I'm supposed to be doing. Since I own the game now the boy and I can play through it together. Ima be a card master, damnit!

Didn't really have more normal Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada this year, as last year I went home to see my mom, and then all the years before that I kinda-sorta lived with her, haha. This year was still pretty rad anyway, if you ask me. Filled with nommy food, penguins and snuggles. :3

Oh! And I bought a nice jacket for the cold season! Now I'll be warm in addition to being all wrapped up in my super long woolly pink scarf. Mmm.

As for art-related.. I'm, uhm... working on it? :x

Bai.

ps; Google Street View came to a bunch of cities in Canada, so now I can creep Vancouver via the Internets. I'm still completely amused by it.

If you spend your whole life walking behind others, you'll never make your own distinct path in life.

Plus the smell might make you a bit rank.
